Spring Glen School’s Annual Art Night

“Celebrating the Art of Alexander Calder”
March 23, 2018
6:30-8:30 PM

The Art Night Committee is planning over 25 hands-on activities highlighting the style of American Sculptor Alexander Calder. The requested items will help make the evening a huge success!

Art Materials & Paper Goods: Wire Coat Hangers, Large Paper Plates (plain), Large Paper Bowls (plain), Small Paper Bowls (plain), Plain Paper Bags (for popcorn), Fold Over Sandwich Bags (NOT ZIPLOCK), Hot Cups, Cold Cups, and Plastic Forks.

Food Donations for the “Big Top Concessions Stand”: Cut-up fruit. Please bring your cut-up fruit to the cafeteria the night of the show.

Parents! Please join us for a conversation about Internet safety

Join members of the Hamden School District Safety Committee and Trooper Kate Cummings, Connecticut State Police DARE Coordinator, for a discussion on Internet safety, social media awareness and current trends in Connecticut, teenage behaviors associated with social media, and current Connecticut laws.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by February 20th. Dinner will be provided. Seating is limited to the first 150 participants, so register now!

2018 Play Change Notice

Due to licensing issues the 2018 Spring Glen Play will be Aladdin Jr.

Auditions for Grades 5 & 6 are after school from 3:30-5:00pm Thursday, 1/25/2018. Please note: while bus transportation is available for ALL participants following all regular Thursday rehearsals, there is no bus transportation provided on audition day!

Registration and payment should be returned by 1/25/2018. Please contact Mr. Hornreich for financial assistance. Special arrangements can be arranged by contacting Chaundra Vasseur at skistorm@gmail.com.
